so you're getting 11.4 from your own calculations? i read your post and assumed you meant the display kept reading that number.

That is what I thought at first, but I kept driving slower and slower and its steadfast at 11.4. It does run better, that's for sure. I drive so slow, I get the bird constantly.
there is some debate about rare earth plugs being used on these trucks. most guys say to stick with O/E copper plugs. i can't speak specifically to the NGK's though.<br /><br />^ beat me to it
You can take our advice, or not. That's up to you. But, we already know these trucks don't like those parts, and if you search, you will find many instances of folks discovering it the same way you did. By changing parts, and making things worse. The O2 sensor especially plays a BIG role in fuel economy. Replacing a failed sensor, with a junk sensor? No surprise that nothing changed. You might be able to get away with the platinum plugs, some folks do. Most..... do not.
