Weird coincidental timing with your question! I just sent email last night to SSI and cc'd PDP asking if they got it back and checked it out. Rip from SSI said he hadn't seen it come in, and asked PDP if they had sent it to him. Maybe I'll get an answer in the next week or so.

I haven't unloaded the 3rd gen bar yet, waiting to hear back from them.

I just sent out another reminder to both SSI and PDP, for them to tell me if they checked out my returned bracket. I haven't gotten a response since SSI asked PDP if they sent the bracket to SSI...

 

I'm following this like a religion as I want that 3rd gen tack bar! Lol

 

I'd like to use the 3rd gen too, considering I pulled it from the jyard, cleaned it, painted it, and put in new poly bushings.
SSI responded and asked for tracking, I supplied with the number.... From what I can tell, SSI wants to figure it out - but PureDieselPower (PDP) isn't responding to SSI question of "where is it". SSI doesn't think PDP sent it to them, he keeps asking PDP - and they don't seem to respond (at least with me on the cc).

 

I wish I could have tried it on my truck. I searched and found no one with your problem. Even the eBay Chinesium 3rd gen conversion mounts worked on people's truck.

 

Why don't you give it a shot? I did the conversion and had no issues.

 

I don't know who to go with. There are many variations of the bracket I don't know which one is the strongest. Then comes the track bar. I need an adjustable one but do I want heim joints or regular bushings

 

Poly bushings. Heim joints wear too quickly.
