46RE Shifting Issues, Need Some Guidance

Well apparently ETE doesn't have that "built correctly" part down because I've had 2 fail, both with under 15,000 miles on them. No towing or racing. I also have an external cooler, derale external filter, no check ball, and transmission temp gauge so I no they've never been hot.

Well, I've gotta eat some crow.
I was tinkering around with the trans last night just racking my brain and reading a lot of threads about what might cause the issues I was having. While looking around, I discovered that the plastic end of the TV cable was partially snapped off and no longer attached to the throttle body. You could get it to attach back on, but it wasn't very secure. I didn't think too much of it, zip tied it on, ordered a new one, and went to bed. The truck had been very sluggish that morning so I assumed it had broken that morning.
Woke up this morning to run errands and found that all of my issues were resolved. Apparently the part must have broken back when the symptoms first began. It all makes sense really, because without throttle input, the transmission thought it was operating at idle all the time, hence explaining the low pressure test readings and the slippage.
I never thought to check the TV cable while diagnosing the issue (apparently neither did the tranny shop) because I had adjusted it less than a year ago after doing some engine work. I figured there was no way it had come out of adjustment on it's own since then. I never anticipated that the bastard might have just broke haha.
So I've issued my apologies to ETE Reman, and wanted to set the record straight here as well. I've edited all posts where I ranted about their poor quality. I still can't say I necessarily recommend them, because their first unit did fail of it's own accord, but at the very least I can't blame them for the most recent issue, that's on me.
Thanks.
