So I had some free time today and did some tests and physically checked the NSS it was on but it was also coated in transmission fluid also from 0pin87 to ground on the ohm setting it ran a 7.3 on start I also had no continuity on the NSS center pin to ground with the trans in neutral

If it's puking fluid thru the sensor, it's bad.

Lol Yup. When I replaced mine it was the same. I was lucky enough that I had a warning before mine failed like your's did. Mine started randomly turning the reverse lights on when I drove. I kept telling people it was my Ion Drives for warp speed. Then I ordered a replacement.

update: replaced the NSS and truck started with a jump then again under its own power. completely unplugged the battery overnight and tried to start it this morning... didn't have enough juice, so that drain is just a bad battery... crisis averted Thanks to everyone for the help
