I have a 1996 Dodge 1500 lifted. I'm wondering what to do as far as replacing the dashboard. I've looked all over I can't find a replacement. I see there's covers for it but my dash is a puzzle. What does everyone else do?

What size lift you have on it? And as stated before check lmc
I never quite got around to ever replacing my non-existent 01 3.9's dash or my 95's dash as well, I think it would really improve the look of the truck if I did. Are they very hard to put in? I feel kinda irked paying ~400ish total for some plastic though to be honest, I was actually scrounging up cheaper alternatives to try myself, like using one of the much cheaper dash/cluster PADS instead of the real dash, and using gorilla glue and little wooden blocks as support beams and gorilla gluing those in.
very very rarely I see a 94-97 ram 2nd gen for sale with a pristine looking dash and I'm speechless and want to ask them HOW AFTER ALL THESE YEARS IS IT NOT BUSTED UP :P

I have the factory dash in all 3 of my 2nd gen dashes. Just have to use a plastic oil cleaner
I found a brand new factory replacement dash once I found the part number and did some searching online. Got it a couple of years ago around Christmas and got free shipping, which really kept the cost way down. My motto - find some time and SHOP AROUND..
I bought and installed the LMC dash a couple years ago. It's just...ok. It fit reasonably well, but the color didn't quite match, the fasteners they provided were a pain in the **** and the paint they sprayed it with started to flake off prematurely (very minor, but still noticeable). If I had to do it again, I'm not sure I'd go with the LMC.
Whatever you do, don't think you can swap one in from another truck. You WILL destroy the replacement part in the process of getting it out of the donor truck. I've tried it twice and failed miserably both times, haha.
