well it's been about 3 weeks since I installed the magnaflow muffler and I put on about 300 miles. It got a little louder and sounds even better now... low steady rumble... no drone... no leaks at the connections.... no looseness.. I like it. thanks again for all the input..

 

I've had the magnaflow muffler on for 15 months and it is performing very well... tight, no leaks, no smells, no drone noises, ..it sounds better now than when I first installed it... that throaty sound has increased and it has improved horsepower... minimally but I can tell... I also went ahead and put an oiled air filter, cooler t-stat, adjusted transmission throttle cable, new spark plugs and cap and rotor, new AGM battery... very pleased with the results for a 5000 pound plus truck...
