High beam lights always on!
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sport model. When I turn on the headlights the high beams are always on to. The indicator is also barely illuminated while on low beam setting, but gets bright if the high beams are clicked on. I’ve replaced the relays, and the headlight switch. Also swapped plugs around on back of bulbs, so I know they are on correct. I do not had the drl module on my truck. Already checked. My fog lights are not working neither. I think it has to do with the truck thinking the highs are on. Would the combination switch cause this issue? I’ve given all the info I could to help and everything I have tried. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking bad ground. Or a bad power wire. The multifunctional switch could be an issue. I had the same problem as you and it turned out to be a bad ground and multifunctional switch.

Looking at the wiring diagrams, I am thoroughly confused. all four lights have a common power source, all four lights appear to have a common ground. Looking at it, it seems that all four lights should either be on, or all four should be off.... depending on the position of the multi-function switch. I know that can't be right..... but, I am unable to determine how the low beams get their ground, without also grounding the high beams.
