Hi, I have a 99 3500 diesel that I bought used. The CC didn't work when I first got it, but a vacuum hose took care of that . As I recall, when the cc was turned on, the green "cruise" light on the dash came on and then when it was set it would get much brighter, indicating that it was set. I recently replaced the brake light switch, all is well and working except that the "cruise" light no loner gets brighter when set. Now am I having a "senior" moment? what is supposed to happen? Mine doesn't change brightness. It's either on, or off. Wonder if you had a ground issue, that changing the switch inadvertently fixed.....
