Just for recap when the Ccd connector is plugged. The ABS light, and airbag light come on, followed by the Engine light with No bu5.

so adding another load to the CCD bus wires causing 2 other CCD bus wires to throw a code. I would say either bad CCD wiring somewhere or bad PCM

Would it affect the radio as well because the radio still was functioning.

for the head light switch, when it dims, would it be an all or nothing concept? (Radio, gauge cluster, and Overhead)

Okay, The console did dim before, at the time the harness was not put in the dash. Also worked the 1st day after I drove it home along with the CCd working.

Background : the wire harness has 2 connectors, 1 brown plug, and one white plug for Ccd. I got the new harness today, I plugged in the Ccd plug (white): Gauges went to their proper positions, and no problems occurred. However the brown plug wasn't connected, because the other one was plugged in. Does it need to be plugged in for the test to be valid?
