Only time I ran 5th was down hill lol. It was an absolute dog in 5th gear. I even put a V8 tb on it with a cold air intake, and moved the ait to the front of the intake. Did ok, but no replacement for displacement. Tune ups are cheaper, 2 less plugs. Don't over rev them though, the ps pump don't like it. Went threw 3 of them.
