Steering Adjustment
#11
Well, according to theory, it's suppose to take up some of the slack between the ***** that recirculate, and the piston the shaft is moving...... Does it actually work? Jury is still out on that. Just doing the output shaft (sector shaft? I think) on my 96 made a HUGE difference. My 98 got a new box shortly before I bought it, but, has other steering issues that need to be dealt with before I can tell if the box has any issues. But, it hasn't been annoying enough for me to deal with it. That, and I don't drive much, or very far, and the truck rarely sees a freeway. Though, I did just order parts to hopefully address it.... (Thanks MoparFanatic. )
