Default Speed Sensor location on 97 dodge ram

I'm puttin a transmission off a 98 318 on my 97 360 and I heard the speed sensors were in different places and wouldn't work? Does anyone know if they are different or the same?

Entirely different. 98 uses the ABS sensor in the diff whereas 97 uses one in the trans or transfer case

Use your transfer case and all the electronics inside your trans or it won't work

Electronics didn't change until 00. The other problem is going to be the t-case shifter, on the 97, it mounts to the trans. The 98 trans won't have the mount points.
