Truck won't start, key problem.

If it will start in neutral, then it is likely just an adjustment/linkage problem. You would have to crawl under there, and wiggle things around, and see where the slop is. Then get the parts to fix it. I think the bushings are actually available at your local auto parts store, in the Dorman "Help" section. If you get a decent parts counter guy, he will probably know exactly what you are talking about when you explain the problem to him.
See if it starts in neutral, if it does, crawl under there, and have a look. Should be pretty easy to figure out what you need.
You are Welcome.

I live in Belgium, dorman isn't really known over here.. so it's always a bit tricky for me to find the right parts! Luckily i always figure it somehow out , and through the 5years i own this truck you guys been helping me alot out!
Just finished work, managed to get it started immediately when it's in neutral.. I'll look at the linkage tomorrow sometime It's probably this since the problem started when i had to renew my torque convertor. I always thought it was caused by the marking ( red line on the dash instrument panel) of the shift selector.. it didn't lign anymore when in P
But i've aligned it today and was still doing it!
I'll keep you guys updated , incase it's not the linkage. Then a bad wire connection is possible the only other cause indeed!
Thanks for helping me out again fella's!
What would we do without dodgeforum !!!
Cheers!
