MSD 8680 Timing Control
Question
I have an MSD 6 ignition with an MSD coil in my truck. Fresh 5.2 with less than 1000 miles on it now, long tube headers, mild cam, nothing too crazy.

- Engine runs good and sounds good, but it does smell like its running rich. I can smell gas at idle.
- The truck feels really lazy like its way underpowered.
- I have a Snap On scan tool and have the fuel sync set to +3 which seems to make it run the best with my setup.
I was 'thinking' the timing could possibly be out of whack, just grabbing at straws trying to figure this one out. I have swapped the ECM, also ran a continuity test on all the o2 sensor wires to confirm they aren't broken/shorted.
Only code I am getting is for the coil, but I have an MSD ignition/coil so I'm not surprised by that. (the truck ran rich before and after the MSD upgrade)
o2 sensors are about 2 yrs old. NGK part# 23139 front and NGK part#23140 rear (my truck came factory with only 2 sensors.) I already swapped them out once and still it smells rich when I drive or if I put it in park and walk around the truck.
