I agree! But, it's as if the heads and spark plugs are still in. It won't budge just like when the engine was together? The starter rolls it over just fine. I will have to hook up the battery to turn it over. I read an article about locktite navel jelly to remove the rust from the cylinder walls?

Woke up ill this morning! The shop where my truck is has 6 nose pickin kids roaming around! All of which have been sick this winter! Did good up to this point avoiding it!

Hey You, in reassembly. The book says don't tighten down the rocker arms if that cylinder is at TDC. Or valve damage could occur?

I haven't turned the engine over yet. Because I thought if I put it back together exactly the way it came apart. There wouldn't be a problem? Am I wrong? Which I'm get n used to being!

Default Used a cheater bar

Three foot pipe on the end of the BFW worked just fine! It was probably a bit hung up from the rust on the cylinder walls? She's moving quite nice now!

Four hours in. Got the heads torqued down to 105 ft/lbs and the rocker arms/ push rods reassembled. Torqued to 21 ft/lbs. Reinstalled the headers/exhaust plus the spark plugs back in! Those headers and exhaust finished me off for the night! V10 headers and exhaust are a pain in the you know what! I suppose if I had little Japanese hands. I wouldn't have so much trouble!

Will get the intake manifolds and the valve covers in the am! We are get n close to firing her back up!
