Default Exhaust leak p0308

Do you guys know if a leak at the exhaust manifold can trigger a p0308 misfire at cylinder 8. Reason I'm asking is because an exhaust manifold bolt broke off flush on cylinder 8.

Maybe...... but, there are a lot of other, more common causes for that as well.

The p0308 came on after driving the truck 25 or so miles. 3 times already, but the truck drives and idles just fine.

Is the plenum a better candidate?

I removed the o2 sensor(to test the cat) then drove 5 or so miles, but it was running badly so I just stopped and ordered the plenum repair kit.

HeyYou
I was able to successfully fix my transmission that was making a knocking sound, but all I did was replace gaskets and O-rings as all the internals looked good to this day I don't what fixed it, but I am scared to rev it hard now.
