I printed this whole 8W part of this service manual out a week ago and snd still having trouble with the lock and unlock. With the remotes it locks but wont unlock, it jumps like it's trying but wont unlock and on the door switchs it works fine. I'm connected to the pink/violet and the orange/violet wires in the kick plate driver side

 

That is the correct wire....... If you hit the unlock button a couple times, will they unlock?

 

What if you hold the unlock button second or two? Sounds like the locks don't have time to get out of the lock sense.

 

I figured it out 🤗. I'll draw a diagram of how I did it as soon as I get back home tomorrow night. I used the pink/black and orange/black out of the C2 connector out of the CTM with 2 relays. I'll attach the page out of the W8 wiring diagrams that I got my idea from.

Hope this helps someone that is trying to get a remote entry hooked up in their 99 dodge ram. The relay pin numbers are labeled along with the pink/black and orange/black. You will have to cut both wires and off of the CTM side of the wires pk/bk to 87a will go one relay and or/bk to 87a on the other relay then the other side of pk/bk to pin 30 on the same relay that has the pk/bk on 87a and the other side of or/bk to the other relay on pin 30 that has or/bk on 87a and so on attached is my drawing
