Duralast bearings
#12
Not true I emailed them a while back about a bearing in their box that said made in China here was the response December of last year. "None of our automotive parts from Timken are made or marked China. All our products are made in the USA, as we are an American company, which makes all our parts in the United States, and we will continue to do so."
The company can say just about anything in a letter that isn't advertising, that they want. The parts must be marked with their country of origin according to law.

Well my front wheel bearings(4x4 Timken) clearly said(stamped into the bearing itself) "MADE IN THE USA". I even took a pic of it because i heard that all bearings come from china now. From what i read on line about timken bearings they have facilities in china and the usa. What gets made where is the question. Just because it's made in china doesn't mean it's crap. If it's made from the same steel with the same machines and the same process is it still crap? Agreed china has a bad rap because they have been sending all it's crap over here for decades. Maybe Trump will ban all the crap coming over from them but don't bet on it.
