Tech at shop saw leak and moved me up to Monday. Lime green fluid is coolant. Fluid seems to be behind firewall insulation and running down. I will update when tech calls me tommorow.
Your A/C runs when you have heat in any position that includes defrost. The A/C dries the air so the defrost works better. Lime green is also the color of the oil in some A/C systems. Stick your finger in it. Is it antifreeze or oil?
Tech gave me the bad news. Freeze plug in back side of head. Needs to remove head, so into it for 2600. Ugh. 1500 labor and 800 parts + tax i guess. Is that fair cost? Not sure if I want to spend much more on this truck but cant repair it by myself due to location of leak. Thanks.

Personally, I'd pull the engine and replace all the expansion plugs. I've never replaced just one. One may be leaking but another one, or two or...might be getting soft. I usually take the opportunity to flush the block. However, I do my own work and usually have several cars to drive too.
