Default 95 ram 1500 delay wiper

this has been a minor inconvenience issue going on for some time that the delay part of my wipers does not work at all. i still have high and low and when i pus to spray washer fluid they also do not come on i have to turn them to low to clear windshield. I replaced the multi switch thinking that was the problem but it solved nothing is there a relay or something that controls the delay on these? truck is a 95 1500 4wd 5.2 auto

I think the controller for all that is mounted right to the wiper motor, don't know if it is replacable separately from the motor, or, if you need to replace the whole thing.

i was afraid of that. looking at aftermarket wiper motor it looks like jut the motor no circuit board like my old suburban had that was way cheaper than a new wiper motor and i looked in the under hood fuse box and find no relay marked for the "delay" feature on wipers. its more of an inconvenience than anything especially in a light or misting rain

There is a intermittent wiper module somewere under the dash. When motor went out on my truck, I heard clicking sound somewhere when I tried to use the wipers. I just quickly looked through the service manual, but didn't find the location for the module. It is on the wiring diagram.
But I think it's close to the gas pedal.

I was wrong, there IS a separate module for delay. It's a little box mounted to the bottom of the dash, I think toward the middle.

I just crawled under the dashboard (no easy feat for a fat guy like me ) and the only box i see is the door buzzer thing and that hasn’t worked since I bought the truck cause the pin switch on driver side door jamb is broke so my side doesn’t turn any lights or stuff on

Looking in the FSM, it appears it is basically centered behind the instrument cluster, above the steering column. Black connector. It's up there pretty far, likely not easy to see unless you lay on your back, in front of the seats..... not a real comfy position.

I think it's pretty close to the top in there. Like, right below the top of the dash. It attaches to a tab poking out from right behind and above the IP. With the steering column in there, not sure you can even see it.

If you don't have one, download the 95 service manual from here. Go to the end of the electrical section, to the part about connector locations. You are looking for connector C219, and it should be in figure 12.
