Check out Transmission Bench on Youtube. They have a whole series for rebuilding the 46RE trans. Kinda dry, and slow going, but, if you haven't done it before, I see those as points in their favor.

Kits usually have all the seals, front band IIRC, friction and metal plates, small parts, maybe bushings. Depends a lot of which type kit you choose, master kit contains all the needed parts to get good stock trans. Any update parts needs to be bought separately.

I was watching those videos as well. Let us know how it goes Sheldon. Let me know if you re-use the same torque converter as well!

Only comes with one band?

Do NOT re-use the converter. If there is junk circulating thru the trans, due to it's failure, you will never clean that stuff out of the converter, and you will smoke your fresh rebuild in a week. Also, don't cheap out on the converter..... if it isn't north of 150 bucks for the converter, you don't want it.

How much is that one? You could do a level 2 viper trans for around 800, with torque converter...... (and that would be a STOUT trans when you were done.....)
