It's in a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and I'm just wanting more I'm not wanting to build a race car I just want more torque some more hp I mean it'll never see a track but it may race red light to red light I wanna see this little 318 put bigger motors to shame and still be able to pull and haul

Change your rear end gears (and front axle as well, of course). That would likely be the biggest improvement. Dropping a 5.9 in there would help a bit as well. Aside from that, with just bolt ons, you aren't going to get a whole lot more power. Headers, free flowing exhaust, maybe some 1.7 ratio roller rockers, and you would probably feel the difference, but, you aren't going to be able to compete with the newer motors.

So far the exhaust has been completely done even after market throttle body I'm at the point now where I'm curious what would be a good cam upgrade how far the engine can be bored and where does everybody get parts from

Cam upgrade with or without a tune? .030 is usually safe, You may be able to go more if you can get pistons. Depends on the parts. And there is a round black thing that you put at the end of sentences!

Supercharge it. Nothing wakes up a motor like forced induction. You could probably run 7 pounds of boost or so, with only a good tune, and bigger injectors.
