This is some sort of vacuum line that connects to passenger side of intake manifold. What is this line the screw driver is pointing to? It looks and feel too small to be a vacuum line.

Default So I just discovered this is broke

So discovered this was broke today

Here’s where it goes. Some sort of vacuum supply for something

So I can answer my own question. Yes they can be disconnected. Bigger problem now is how do I repair this broken line. Any body know it goes to in case I gotta tell parts guy what I’m after. Is this a Dodge only part, junk yard, or automotive chain store?

Get some vacuum hose that will fit over it tightly and slide it onto both pieces.

Is there enough of original tube sticking out from the connecting boot to make an adequate connection?

For curiosity sake, what do these vacuum lines operate?

Not without something to hold them together..... (superglue..... or something similar.) If you can get the original plastic line to break loose from the fitting, then you can just stuff a longer piece in there.

They feed the HVAC controls a(middle one) the one on the left goes to the vacuum reservoir but I don't think they work as they crack over time
