I never noticed a bushing in there, does this brushing sit in behind the seal? I did notice the grove where the seal slides into was much deeper then the seal actually goes, like there is room there for something else, the seal only stopped because the ring hit the the aluminium to me it looked like the spline shaft is the only thing supporting the driveshaft in there

Should be a brass bushing right near the end of the tailshaft. It'll have various grooves/holes in it to hold fluid. (lubrication purposes) Shake the driveshaft, see what you get.

Number 33 in the pic.

I'm pretty sure that bushing is not there I spent enough time looking in there while I was cleaning where the seal goes that I would remember that, I'll try shaking the shaft tomorow and then I'll order a bushing and new seal, does it take any special tools to install a new bushing? And is there different sizes for bushings?

There is definitely a bushing in there. Order a bushing for your truck and transfer case. Try an SKF seal they seem made a little better than other brands.

SKF 18860 {#15661460, 8677463} Info
Rear; New Process 231
$12.89

Looks like #33 may be a bearing, not a bushing TIMKEN B5020 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} Needle Bearing; 2.375 Housing Diameter Info
Rear; 4WD; New Process 231
$14.62

I shook the shaft and it didn't seem to want to move, I noticed the rubber holding on the balance weight was getting weak I could easily move the balance around that wouldn't be shaving when I'm driving would it? The truck seems to be smooth I dont notice anything when I'm driving up to speed

The truck used to be a auto and someone changed it over to a manual the previous owner said that they didn't change the fly wheel or something when they changed it to manual and most of the time when I first take off I have really bad clutch shutter it will shake the whole truck if I feather the clutch to take off but if I really make it grab it wont shake could that be making my seal leak? It only.does it when I'm taking off tho?

Looking at the mopar parts diagram, it doesn't show one for the trucks.... That's just weird. But, if the shaft isn't sloppy back there, then apparently that isn't the issue.

Are you feeling any kind of driveline vibration?

Everything seems normal truck drive great really gotta pay attention to find any noise at highway speeds, I'm going to check for a clogged vent next time I'm under the truck and I'm going to replace the seal in a few days as well I will take a good look for a bushing in there and I will take some pics thanks for the help!

Check for the clogged vent before changing the seal. (that is actually a really good idea.)
