Default 01 1500 3.9 dead miss

Hello all, new to the forum but have read all stickies and searched for my issue with no avail.
I have a 2001 Dodge 1500 with the 3.9 99k miles
dead miss on #4 (only cyl that doesnt react to no injector or spark)
I have replaced PCV and spark plugs. I've checked for spark and it has a strong spark. It has a brand new injector and it has made no difference. I did a compression test and it has good compression compared to all other cylinders. It is hardly noticable in park or neutral but when in drive or reverse it shakes like bull. I bought this truck from an old man I work with that owned a mech shop in his young days and this problem even stumped him, so I got it for a good price. He thinks it is plenum and it has some symptoms of the plenum but it still doesnt explain the dead miss from what I have read from this forum and other places. Looking for insight and or things to check to figure this out. Thanks so much.

That cylinder is in the back the plenum can cause that. Just like a misfire on #8 on the V8s

#4 is in the center on the passenger side. Also, and some will disagree, in 2001 Chrysler had figured out the plenum issue. If spark is good it's the injector or injector wiring. Google "noid light" and either buy one or rig one up. If it flashes the wiring is fine and the injector is the problem.

Edit: I see there's a new injector in it already. So either wiring or PCM.

I took the throttle body off and it seems to be blown out on the drivers side. I'll post a link to the video on YouTube. Also oil pooling in back of plenum.
considering one side of the gasket is pushed inside the intake more than the other, I think it is plenum. What do you guys think? Thanks

There are some tests you can perform, don't remember the details (search the web) but basically if you see vacuum in the crankcase the plenum gasket has failed.

If you can see the gasket pushed in, and oil pooling at the back of the intake, the plenum is blown..... Time to yank it.

Plenum plate did not solve the misfire. Any other suggestions?
