They had a few different sizes, but even for smaller gauge I will start using these instead of
butt connectors. I it seems like the best combo of a wire nut (where you can twist the strands together for a good mechanical connection) and the crimp of a Butt connector. 100 different ways to skin it, but I like these.

They were a really good connection. Like I said the factory used them by the passenger side headlight. I never had luck with the butt connectors that you get at the parts stores

 

.99 cents at Home Depot brother, they are hiding on the top shelf by the power distribution blocks.

 

Tomorrow I will begin removing the dash and buttoning up the panel and electrical. Taking a poll, LMC or Geno’s for the replacement pad?

if you don't mind losing your ash tray and cigarette lighter (who still smokes lol) you can fit a touch screen there.

No the dash in my truck is mint and the original dash (if you are talking about from my thread) I didn't yet. I just bought a new pistol

 

Swapped out the steering wheel and the ignition off the donor truck this afternoon. It worked out, the column was pulled from the same truck which was the door donor. Thanks to yard manager, he had the key.

 

I swapped a 3rd gen wheel in mine lol
