They can be a pain if they are rusty but pretty straight forward. The CV ball takes a little force to pry out but it will come out. Only place that sells the CV ball is auto zone but I recommend getting them from torque king. They have a kit with the CV ball, seal, and boot. Watch beating on the ears as you can bend them

Thanks for all the help guys I'll keep ya posted if i find anything different but I'm pretty positive thats my problem

Tiger tools makes some nice u joint tools that make your life much easier and will pay for them selves in what a trip or 2 to a shop will jam you.
