It goes somewhere..... but, I don't have a diagram in front of me at the moment. There was, at one time..... a sticker under your hood that showed the vacuum line routing, and such, but, given the evolutions your truck has gone thru, I wouldn't expect it to be accurate any more, if it is even still there.

I think it's just a vent line I need the vent part . I need to find a way to figure out where the harness ran and where they were anchored. I wish I knew somebody with an unmolested truck

Also try Precision of New Hampton for TC, what I have. No need to go with 1.7 rockers, the cam already has the lift built in. It's just complicating the build. Adding the additional lift will require heavier springs, the 2 piece valves could separate with heavier springs, heavier springs needs hardened push rods. 1.7' rockers with a cam will require adjustable rockers. keep it simple with bolt ons that play nice together.

i was persuaded away from the 2200 stall TC because I was told it would produce more heat. But our trucks move to lockup so quickly I really don't beleave it would add any extra heat. Looking back I wish I had bought the extra high stall. I ended up with lowered stall RV TC which works fine.

If you are talking about the one that runs to the firewall there is a cap/cover that goes on it. My DD didn't have one and water got into the canister. Had to take it apart dry it out a then put it back together. I got the cap/cover from a truck in junk yard. This actually is where the air come into the evap circuit.

HUGHES PERFORMANCE (not Hughes Engines) Phoenix, AZ 602.257.9591 for your torque converter. I recommend them simply because I have one of their converters in my Charger behind a 440, as well as the heavy duty towing version behind my V-10, high quality internals, serious duty lockup clutch. You can trust their judgement in selecting a converter.
Good folks, good shop, good price.

Yeah I figured it out, thanks! I have no clue where the cap went. It was in it a few days ago.

See when I was rebuilding the stick for my Hemi charger (69) I used their torque converter and blew it

The 1600 low stall RV converter works great, I really don't notice a difference from stock. Temps are always around 150*, summer driving it goes up to around 200* per my trans temp gauge. I would like a bit more rev so that's why I suggest the 2200 stall.
