Back off 2 or 2 7/8 turns? Heard two different things in videos I’ve watched.. the front one looks like it’s in great spot.. lol

2 turns for both bands. This is direct from our one-time trans Guru MonteC. If you search thru the MonteC's transmission corner thread, you will find it in there as well. (which is where I got it from.) MonteC runs his own trans shop, and specializes in Mopar transmissions.

Now you have a real dodge transmission tech on now or back again. If you want adjust bands. Talk to me first. I don't do the two turns and torque 72 inch pounds.

With the transmission pan off, Loosen the adjusters and move them until you have 1/4 to 1/2 inch of free play and then lock your adjusters. You will be using your finger to check for free play.
