Default Ac Not Blowing cold

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2 and I have been having issues with my Ac for a while and with this louisiana summer heat its unbearable. But so I checked my freon and is shows its full and is at the correct level the ac compressor does kick on and when I fill the cold side ac lines they are cold so it seems like something is working but the cab just isn’t getting cold air , now ik the blend door is s issue on this truck but I replaced that a while back and the blend door is definitely operating properly . now only days its not that hot like low 80s and 70s u can definitely fill a tiny bit of air but it’s nowhere working properly to keep the cab nice and cold

What did you do with the blend door? Are you getting good airflow thru the vents?

the blend door lil plastic cylinder was cracked at one point preventing ot from turning and opening the door when change the settings so I replaced it with the a company that makes a metal one as a replacement and I also replaced the blower motor resister so all settlings work now and the air flow changes through all levels

There have been occasions where the blend door has actually broken away from the axle, so, it *looks* like things are working, but, they aren't..... Did you re-sync the little stepper motor when you installed the new coupler?

yes I did reset it and even before I fix the blend door I could manually open and close the door yet my ac still wasn’t working at the time

Air goes thru the evaporator core first, then thru the heater core, or bypasses it to some extent or other. If the a/c system is doing its job properly, then any air flowing thru the system will be cooled. Since it isn't cool coming out the vents though..... either the a/c system IS not performing as intended, or, the blend door isn't doing it's job properly.
