Default Any Thoughts on Engine Restore Additive?

Truck is at 264,000 miles and counting with original engine, trans, and axles.

Any thoughts or advice based on experience with Restore?

Bleepin Jeep did a test in an inline 6 on a Cherokee and he got good results, so I bought it. I indeed did get better compression after I ran it.

Now this is pure opinion but it seemed to help with acceleration to.

Increase compression, and yes, you will get better acceleration.

I think I am going to pick some up tomorrow while I am in town, and try it in my tractor. I have one cylinder that fouls out the plug in just a couple hours of run time.....

Yes absolutely use it. I started using it every oil change about 30,000 miles ago and it stopped my engine from smoking, decreased oil consumption, made the engine run much smoother, and brought my fuel mileage back up to an acceptable level around 17mpg. I would be terrified to put it in a modern engine but these trucks seem to love it. I take the truck for a long drive 50 miles or so right after changing the oil then park it overnight it might just be in my head but I feel it works better

Thanks! Do you use it with regular oil? Just one can? Any reason I can't add it to the MaxLife blend oil? I have read or heard that once you start using it, you have to keep use it. True?

yep use it with any oil I personally use Castrol GTX High mileage 10w40 Non synthetic Dinosaur Oil accompanied with a Mopar oil filter. You don’t have to use it every oil change but around 5-10,000 miles after not using it it will revert back again. It fills in the tiny scratches in your cylinder walls but will eventually wear back out and they will come back. I just use it every oil change 1 can of 8 cylinder formula but every other oil change could be sufficient. My truck has seen a lot of hard use and has a lot of idle time on it I’ve used it as a generator for days idling and I know that causes cylinder wash down but couldn’t have the basement flood so I just use it all the time now. Its a night and day difference in my personal application
