When i put truck in drive and accelerate i hear 1 ping sounds like it comes from under or rear of vehicle also does it when i accelerate from a dead stop jst one ping. No shimmy no shakes or other noises no slipping in trans or skips ki da at alose any help would be great thanks.

 

Did you check the u joints?

If they are dry, they also tend to make interesting noises. Drop the driveshaft, and wiggle 'em. See what ya got.
