So, does the engine rev, and the truck just doesn't move?
Basically I start her, shift her, and she doesn’t move. I press the gas, she revs, but doesn’t move. I de-press the gas, then she’ll start to move.

If it only does it first thing in the morning (or, first drive of the day) It's probably just because the check valve is gone. (and good riddance.)
