I was looking at rock auto and it looks like they have bolts exactly for my issue. Anyone used one before?

interesting! So how does it work? Do I need to get a helicoil kit that’s the same size as my current bolt I have in there? Or do I need a smaller/bigger size?

Get one for the size of the stock bolt. You will have to drill out the whole, run the tap that comes with the helicoil thru it, then put the helicoil in. (use some red lok-tite to keep the helicoil in place.) Let the lok-tite set, put the bolt in, snug it down, drive happy.

This one is for an 01 with dual piston front caliper, not sure what year his truck is.
Good heli-coil kits aren't cheap or easy to come by these days.
