Default Overdrive

Good afternoon everyone
So I have Frankenstein 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9l, and no matter what i do i can't seem to figure out why i can't get the overdrive to kick in... Rpms will go almost all the red lining and i get nothing... I have replace relays, some sensors, checked wires, lines and just cant figure it out!!!
Any suggestions other than getting rid of it or taking it to a shop... Its just a hunting truck, and I enjoy working on it...
Thank you all for your time...

Getting any codes? PCM should set some if it is commanding overdrive, and not seeing the RPM drop, same for TCC engage. Keep in mind, trans codes won't necessarily turn on the check engine light. Put a reader on it, check for pending codes as well.

Yep, that sounds like a bad governor pressure solenoid. If you have already replaced it, time to have a look at the wiring.

Changed the selonid, but not the wiring... Weird i only chaged the one, and now it seems like it slow on the get go, and for some reason it worse now than before!!!
Very sluggish.......
I'm stomped and have to get it on the machine to check codes again...
