Default AC vacuum line

Replaced my ac compressor today all went smooth but I only had cold air blowing from the windshield vents...

checked my vacuum lines and the infamous T fitting one was broken.

i threw some electrical tape on it to diagnose and that fixed it... for an hour.

what is the name of this vacuum line? I want to buy a replacement but can’t find the correct name for it..

picture Included

I ended up cutting it short and wrapping a little tape around the end then SHOVED it into the boot. It’s half the size but so far it’s been holding up all day...

im going to check a parts yard and see if I can pull one.

The common fix is to get a hose that the little hose fits in tightly and use that.

Yep, this. Use a piece of rubber vacuum line to splice the plastic line back together. It's actually a permanent fix, until the plastic breaks somewhere else.....

When I need to replace lines, I just get the rubber/viton vacuum line from the parts store. The hard plastic was a bad idea in my opinion. It is guaranteed to fail over time.

See I was going to replace all my lines (since I even have the HVAC box out an they don't make the rubber hose small enough and was worried it might get sucked shut. I was also going to test the HVAC vacuum lines
