OMG do I feel stupid. Been chasing electrical for 4 days. Come to find out the fuel line got pinched when we lifted tank and tightened it up. I couldn't see that side but I had a friend on that side and I guess we didn't catch it. I'm getting too old for this. LMAO 😂. Thanks again for all the information tho. Learned things again just made a stupid mistake. I need to shorten that line. There's plenty extra. It's just a rubber hose. Thanks again all. Feel like an idiot.

At least it was an easy one, and you will certainly remember it if you ever go thru this again.

i was literally thinking this and was about to comment. Did you drop the tank to change it or lift the bed? Or cut a hole?

the benefit of cutting the hole and or lifting the bed makes this usually not an issue which is why I hate dropping the tank...

ive got a new Delphi sitting in my garage and I look at it every day with dread because changing fuel pumps is my least favorite thing to do... but I know any day mines gonna blow LoL

glad you got it working!

If you already have it, run the tank near empty, and swap it out. You KNOW that it will wait till JUST after you fill it up to fail.

Default Front coil spring spacers

So on to my next task that I have put off for months. I have some nice billet 2" coil spring spacers that I'm going to install on the front of my 1996 Dodge ram 1500 2wd. If installed these before on a few 4wd models. I know what I need to do with these also but I was wondering if I could just unbolt sway bar from frame(4 bolts) unbolt shocks and drop a-arm enough without messing with ball joint to install? Yes tire is removed. Just trying to make job easier without disassembling a ton of items. Usually when you disturb older ball joints then you need to replace. Just some friendly advice is all I'm looking for.

How old are your ball joints? Still in good shape?

I don't know if you can get enough clearance without disconnecting the lower arm......

Ya ball joints are in good shape and that's what I figured. Wouldn't be able to drop coil enough without popping the u joint.
