You are welcome. Just do your research and you will see how weak the 44 and 9.25 is with big tires

What upgrades did you do? And what year is your truck again?

01 well I did everything possible to make trans stay cool and got a custom 8 inch lift and that痴 basically it It has the np231 with 2.72 gears in it but no wires on the back side where a speedo gear is so I知 guessing a toner ring so a flashpac or something

Yep only way to correct the speedo is to use a tuner

Welp I guess I値l just remember how much it痴 off because I do plan on rehearing down the road just to keep low power offroad so I can be fuel efficient on long offroad trips so I値l get one then. I got milestar atr tires they balanced great and are plenty for offroad in fl but these magnums got power because I had a bud with a f250 with 34s and the 5.4l that has higher power ratings and it was slower then a camel on a Tuesday, granted the truck weighed more but had 3.73s so I think that rumor that magnums were under rated is true

Rear wheel speed sensor reads the tone ring mounted to the diff carrier, behind the ring gear, so, changing gear ratio has zero effect on your speedometer. Just need to correct for the larger tires, and you are good to go.
