I have a 2001 ram 1500 5.2l, is the computer interchangeable with any other dodges? i also have a 2000 dodge dakota. they look the same, but have different numbers on them. can trying it out hurt? i just want to swap them to make sure i have the right diagnosis. i already replaced ...

i have already changed the...
- coolant temp sensor
- radiator cap
- thermostat
- flushed coolant system
- changed spark plugs and wires
- crankshaft sensor and cam shaft sensor (called something else but everyone seems to call it the cam sensor) - pickup
- ignition coil
- distributor and rotor
- fuel pump module
- throttle posititon sensor
- idle air control valve
- 3 of the sensor on throttle body forgot name of third one

intermittent stalling, randomly shutting down, then saying no bus. almost like its overheating but its not overheating. its likely a curse ; giving me a finite amount of time driving before it shuts down on me. only thing left to replace is computer. i think
