Default Hard start

01 ram 1500 5.2L. Really hard start in the AM. Smells rich/ blue smoke while feathering gas to get running. Once warm, no probs all day. Have already ran diagnostic and no codes thrown. Replaced fuel pump, dist. Cap and rotor, coolant temp sensor. Out of options

What does fuel pressure do when you shut the engine off? If you cycle the key a couple times, does it start easier?

I would be tempted to plug a scanner in, and see what the PCM thought engine temp was, first thing in the morning.... Sounds like it is getting too much fuel.

Good fuel pressure. Cycling key does not help

Fuel pressure is good. Cycling key does not help. Thought about an online ball check, but with good pressure, decided against it

Does pressure bleed off quickly after it primes?

How do your plugs look, and what kind/brand are they?

If you just step lightly on the pedal, and hold it there, will it start any easier?
