I live in Manitoba, Canada, and I just phoned 1800-465-2001 and gave them my VIN #. The lady I talked to said she couldnt pull anything up, but she was looking into it and would phone me back. She did mention something about my truck being under some extended warrenty. Its a 1999 with 130,000 km's (80,000 miles)

If she does phone me back with any other information, i'll let you guys know.

Well, I heard back from Daimler Chrysler, and the exhaust on my 1999 Ram will be covered for 10 years/200,000 km's!! I dont think it has failed yet because it doesnt rattle, and im getting not bad gas millage. I might have to take it to the dealership though and get them to do a flow test on the cat. If it fails im getting it replaced for free.

This is definatly something everybody should check into!!

ORIGINAL: Tempsho

phone 1800-465-2001
It does apply to Canadians as well. Just phone that number, go through the prompts, enter your VIN and get the person on the other end to do a check. Im pretty sure if your truck is within those years of the recall, and its within 10 years of 200,000 km's, it should be covered.

If you are from Canada, you'll probably get Stephanie on the phone
