Default Steering wheel alignment

Wehen I got my 2001 Ram 2500 back together the wheel was off. Took it to get it aligned and the guy got the toe right but ran out of adjustment for the wheel. I have the Y steering. Now after the body lift my wheel is 180° off (when going straight the wheel is upside down).

What do you think about me pulling the TRE out of the pitman arm, turning the wheel straight, then adjusting it to go back into the pitman arm?

That shouldn't be that much of a problem...... Body lift shouldn't affect it at all.

Wonder if the pitman arm just needs to be re-indexed.... Though, I don't if if it is key on the shaft at all, or just standard splines...

I seem to recall this happened to me and I think the pitman arm allows for 4 keyed spots to allow for re-indexing.

What screwed it up was when I pulled the cab I turned the wheels to move it. When it was aligned it was close but when I put the steering shaft extension on (for the body lift) I had to rotate the wheel 1/2 turn to the left. So I figured if I pull the drag link off and move the wheel to where it's straight and they put it back on it will work and I can get it realigned. I'll post pics here later and I hope you can adjust the pitman arm.
