The panels go over the headliner(side ones where the upper seat belt retracts from), The headliner was installed first.

 

Body panels. As in: Sheet metal. The plastic stuff on the inside are interior trim panels.

 

That was what i was referring to, Interior plastic panels. I wouldn't call it trim because it covers everything from the floor to the headliner.

 

Just wanted to add that when I called LMC and explained how mine isn't fitting right and I'm still within the warranty they told me are going to refund my money since they no longer offer a replacement. Good on them. I am a repeat happy customer of theirs.

I did find and order another one from stockinteriors.com today which looks to be about the same thing LMC was selling but I haven't received it so can't comment about it but it is supposedly also the molded abs and comes in quite a few color options.

 

Let us know and does that mean LMC no longer sells them?

 

I'm not sure what is going on but there isn't an option to buy the versions for my single cab truck with overhead console in light grey. Other versions are listed as back ordered but the one I would want, and several others, no longer have the add it to the cart button and nothing to indicate it's backordered. When I returned it they didn't offer to send me a new one. I'm pretty excited to see if the new one fits better but when i ordered it today a message pops up to say it may be a 65 day delivery delay from COVID.

Maybe they are being forced to endure limited staff from shut downs. This been very hard on small businesses here in my state. Maybe SC is like WA state.
