I replaced the headliner in my 2001 Ram today, with a ABS plastic headliner that I purchased through LMC Trucks for $420.00 The headliner did not fit, called LMC and they told me they have sold many of these headliners and never had a complaint.
I did finish the install after six hours, used a Dremel Tool to modify bolt holes in multiple places.

Disappointing

Disappointing
The headliner look good everywhere except for around the center console, there is a gap under the console that does not meet the same contour as the headliner. There is a large gap, around the back of the console of about a have inch.
Not happy with the way it looks, planing on restoring the old headliner and changing it out later. Long story short if your going to replace your headliner, you will save time and money restoring you old one.

Even tho the OP has an '02, I definitely appreciate all the replies and sources provided; another fine example how members here come together.

I gave the thread an 'excellent' rating in spite of it continuing in -- 2nd Gen Ram Tech 1994-2001 Rams: This section is for TECHNICAL discussions only, that involve the 1994 through 2001 Rams -- stated as the section/category on this page.

Surprised the Moderator or a Grand Champion didn't point that out as reply #2.
I'm glad it's here anyway so thanks for letting it slip thru.

His truck is a 2500, which for 02, is still a second gen. 2500/3500 trucks didn't move to the 3rd gen platform until 03.
