Heat Issue
You have some mobility issues, right? It's not really that bad. I hung the dash from the grab handle and was able to squeeze behind. Used the swivel core. Worst part was cutting the old one out. After that it's just working it like a 4 year old with a booger until she pops in.

Truck is still driveable, and actually drives pretty nice. Considering I only drive it once or twice a week.... and it's only a little over 7 miles to work...... For the moment, I'll just wear gloves.
My new heater core is still bypassed from when I rebuilt my dash.
And gloves do the job just fine for the one or two days a year I might need them.
Not hard at all. Wasn't really pushing it. Went to grab 3rd and I hear a bang and truck wouldn't accelerate (thought I broke the u joints I have been having problems with). I seen them online let me see if I can grab the link. The website says they can be ordered like that. I just have to find a gasser bell housing
Yep, I do. That, and it's cold out, which doesn't help either....... (funny how you don't really worry about your heater, till the ground turns white.......) My dash top is pretty cracked as well, I am sure it will disintegrate when I try and pull the dash. So, considering just getting a new top for it, before I do the core. No point pulling the dash twice, right?? Just gotta recover from the latest disasters here..... Furnace crapped out, and then my TV........
