Default Transgo or Sonnax 3-4 accumulator spring

Just got the valve body out of my 2001 ram 1500 4x4 with a 46RE

Ive looked for a comparison of which would be better or are they the same for the 3-4 accumulator spring. TransGo calls the piston that the spring go into an OD accum piston, but everyone else says 3-4.

Maybe overthinking this.

Not sure which one i should use?

Thanks

yes, i ordered the parts from oregon performance transmission and there was an option for upgraded spring, so i said yes. They look the same when compared to eachother. ive put the sonnax in since ive already got it, and as predicted the spring was broke and im missing all the parts to the boost valve.

gonna order a kit tonight for it.

Yup they look the same. I went with the Sonnax. Doesn't really matter which kit you go with. Did you find the missing parts?

i did, call one of the local transmission shops and got a doner spring 2land valve and plug for free. only other way would of been to use the sonnax oversized kit. wasn't spending that much for something will be rebuild in the next 2 years.

thanks again for the advise yall
