Default 2002 Ram 2500 5.9 Magnum P0308 code

I’m trying to figure out how to diagnose the code. I have checked plugs and wires which are good. Compression is good. No oil inside the plenum and it doesn’t appear to have hesitation or rough idle. At least not that I can tell. Not sure what else to check. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Swap injectors on six and 8, see if the miss moves with the injector.

How's your cat? Usually, if the cat is starting to plug up, cylinder 8 has issues first.

I replaced O2 couple months ago and just recently replaced muffler. Entire exhaust is severely rusted. Didn’t think it would throw a misfire code so never thought about the cat

Ok, those should be good.

Is it only cylinder 8 that's spitting a code?

Yes. I tried swapping plugs but it didn’t change anything. I’ll try swapping injectors this morning and see if that makes a difference
