Cooling system issues

Got it all done. Easy enough. Jacked it waaay up and I think the radiator cap neck was higher than the core hoses. Ran it for a very long time kept adding until no more bubbles. Hopefully, she's good. Took it for a spin and it seems fine. Hopefully this cures the cold radiator cap and gurgling. Thanks, guys.

Please update on the radiator cap as I'm having the same issue

Update: haven't heard any slushy slushy in the morning! Seems all the air is finally purged. What I did was jack it up then let the wheel down on blocks then re-jacked it another time. Got the radiator neck higher than the core hoses.

Glad to hear! Does your cap get hot now?

Haven't checked it since I only go to work which isn't very far. I need to drive further to test it.

Correct it's only to bleed the air out these isn't a bleed port on these trucks
