Got it all done. Easy enough. Jacked it waaay up and I think the radiator cap neck was higher than the core hoses. Ran it for a very long time kept adding until no more bubbles. Hopefully, she's good. Took it for a spin and it seems fine. Hopefully this cures the cold radiator cap and gurgling. Thanks, guys.

Please update on the radiator cap as I'm having the same issue
Update: haven't heard any slushy slushy in the morning! Seems all the air is finally purged. What I did was jack it up then let the wheel down on blocks then re-jacked it another time. Got the radiator neck higher than the core hoses.

Oh, I've done all that and more before. Just never seen or heard of a cold radiator. I'll just swap it out and go from there. To burp I always jack the right front way up and run it without the cap. Seemed to work fine after the core and a few water pumps. After 20 years of ownership, she's starting to show her age. And I just ordered a Jegs ypipe for it too. Figures.
