Default O2 sensor

Had duals put on 97 1500 4wd. Throwing the O2 sensor code. Is there any way to get rid of this code permanently? Can clear and comes back on start up. I know its supposed to have the. But it dont now. Anything I can do?

Replace the sensor. That's for bank 1, sensor 1, which is what controls fuel mixture. You REALLY want that one working properly. NTK or Denso sensors only please. The others just don't work right.

If I understand what he's saying, he doesn't have any O2 sensors anymore

Would be nice if people read before they post! The blank i assume means 02. And he didn't mention if it's true duel or just cat back. Look up 02 simulators.

He is getting an O2 sensor code, he needs to put the sensor back in in order for the code to go away. (not to mention the engine running properly......)

I agree. I assume he didn't have any O2s and I hope he will agree this.
