Its a 2500 so 4.10s and yes. Thinking of going to 4.88s as that is the closest ratio with 35s to stock tires with the 4.10s.

Ah, the durango has the 3.92's.... (guess that's for folks that can read..... )

I have 4.56 and 33's on mine, and its really too much gear for the tire size. I think with 35's, it would be much closer to 'perfect'.

Well I don't really drive on the highway too much unloaded and every trailer I use are over 3400lbs empty. Add the skidsteer and now I'm at 11k no problem. Even just pulling some 4 wheelers I am over 5000k just cause the trailer is so heavy. Also I would like the option to go to 37s at some point and 4.88s would make that easy. It would be the same as 4.56 on 35s. Either way it's not something that's pressing right now for me. I have only put 11k kilometers (or 6835 in freedom units, its an imported Canadian truck) on the it since I bought it mid 2016.

If you wanna go to 37's, then yeah, changing the gears ONCE makes a LOT of sense. Not an inexpensive endeavor, even if you do the work yourself.

Won't even need much lift for the 37's. My 33's have TONS of clearance, and I doubt I would have to do anything suspension-wise to fit 35's. The truck already sits pretty high.... Wonder if my dogs would notice the extra inch? I am sure my wife would...... (my girls are getting older, and they already have trouble getting into the truck.... That whole 'jumping' thing just doesn't seem to be in their job description any more.....)

Since I have a 4" lift already all I have to do for 37s is re-center the rear diff in the wheel well, which I plan on doing with new leafs and a shackle flip sometime this year, and use some adjustable arms to push the front axel forward a bit. I have access to a nice welder now so I plan on building a high clearance bumper for the front. Re-gear isn't as expensive as how much I have in this motor now, I'm over $3k into this.

Yeah, it simply isn't an inexpensive hobby.

Have you considered doing a long-arm suspension up front? Makes for a better ride, and also better articulation off-road.

They do a radius arm setup which is horrible for these trucks. These trucks need a true long arm. If me and Keith could team up and I could use his cnc and Dom tubing bender we could design a kickass long arm
